2018 Summer Schedule
The precise details of our summer concert schedules are always highly tentative, and remain so at all times, due especially to the weather.  Much of our equipment, including our printed music, cannot necessarily survive exposure to rain, so occasionally concerts must be canceled or even stopped "in progress".  And, if a concert is canceled, we sometimes arrange to perform that same concert later in the season.
May 19 – For the second year in a row, the band’s season will begin with Jim Priebe conducting the Season Kickoff Concert, with guests Bel Canto Chorale.  This year, the concert will take place at the James Madison Middle School Auditorium.

May 28 – The annual morning Memorial Day ceremonies at Memorial Auditorium, sponsored by the American Legion and the Veteran’s Council.

All other concerts at the Crapo Park Band Shell at 7:30 PM:

June 3 –  Mark Taylor conducts the Teddy Bear’s Picnic concert, featuring outstanding area middle school students performing with the band.

June 10 –  Derrick Murphy conducts.

June 17 –  Mike Lachnitt conducts.

June 24 –  Adam Creager conducts.

July 1 –   Jeremy Henman and Derrick Murphy conduct.

July 8 –   Janel Harms conducts.

July 15 – Ron Coberley conducts.

July 22 –  Mark Eveleth conducts.

July 29 –   Carmen Lachnitt conducts.

August 5 – Our annual “Round Robin” concert and/or a previously rained out concert.
